Understanding Support at Home pricing
Different Support at Home services have different costs and pricing. How much you actually pay for a service (your contribution) depends on the results of your assessment.
Clinical care is fully funded by the government so you won’t have to pay a contribution.
Your contribution for other services will be determined by the outcome of your MyAgedCare income and assets assessment. When your assessment is complete, you will receive a budget. You can use this budget to pay for services from your service provider.
When you make a service agreement with your chosen provider, the agreement includes the prices you’ll pay for the services they provide. If your provider needs to change prices they charge, they need to clearly explain those changes to you.
You have a right to know the prices your provider is charging, and your provider is legally required to provide those details.

Support at Home was introduced on 1 November 2025.

Clinical support pricing
Nursing care services
Nursing care services included in Support at Home with Kanda include:
- monitoring and assessment
- wound care treatment
- continence management
- medication management.
Hourly rates for these services vary depending on when the services are supplied, as shown below:
Registered Nurse
- Standard Weekdays (7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday) $180 per hour ($126 per half hour)
- Non-standard Weeknights (6 pm to 7 am Monday to Friday) $199 per hour ($140 per half hour)
- Saturday $248 per hour ($174 per half hour)
- Sunday $279 per hour ($196 per half hour)
- Public Holiday $378 per hour ($265 per half hour)
Enrolled Nurse
- Standard Weekdays (7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday) $148 per hour ($104 per half hour)
- Non-standard Weeknights (6 pm to 7 am Monday to Friday) $164 per hour ($115 per half hour)
- Saturday $204 per hour ($143 per half hour)
- Sunday $230 per hour ($161 per half hour)
- Public Holiday $311 per hour ($218 per half hour)

Care management services
We provide ongoing care management services at an hourly rate of $136 per hour. Alternatively, care management services for restorative/end of life are $168 per hour.
- Care management services include:
- care planning
- service planning and management
- establishment and review of service agreements
- development, review and evaluation of a participant’s care plan and quarterly budget
- monitoring of services provided
- provision of information and education about the participant’s care and services
- support to connect to health and other services when needed
- assistance to request a Support Plan Review, if needed.
Allied health services
- Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Exercise Physiologist – $231 per hour
- Podiatrist and Speech Therapist – $265 per hour
- Therapy Assistant – $162 per hour
*1-hour minimum applies for initial or follow-up assessments or as clinically indicated.
Independence support pricing
Independence support at Kanda helps you continue to live independently at home. Independence support can include help with transport or respite care, or help getting dressed, showering or taking medications.
Personal care
Personal Care is available within the Clinical Service category and is not subject to co-contribution from October 1, 2026.
Hourly and half-hourly rates:
- Standard Weekdays$109 ( $77 per half hour)
- Non-standard Weeknights $121 ($85 per half hour)
- Saturday $150 ($105 per half hour)
- Sunday $169 ($119 per half hour)
- Public Holiday $229 ($161 per half hour)
Social support and in-home respite
Social support helps you stay active within your community. In-home respite is temporary, professional in-home care. In-home respite lets your regular carer (like family) take a break. In-home respite provides companionship and help to follow their interests. Activities could include board games, painting or drawing, talking and reminiscing.
We offer hourly rates for social support and in-home respite. Half-hourly rates are not available for these services.

- Public Holiday $229 per hour
* Where available, Non-standard Weeknights is from 6 pm onwards to 7 am, Monday to Friday.

- With 0 – 15 Km travel – Weekdays 7 am – 6 pm $145 per hour($109 per half hour)
- With 15 – 30 Km travel – Weekdays 7 am – 6 pm $165 per hour($124 per half hour)
- With 0 – 15 Km travel – Weeknights 6 pm – 7 am $161 per hour ($121 per half hour)
- With 15 – 30 Km travel – Weeknights 6 pm – 7 am $183 per hour ($138 per half hour)
- With 0 – 15 Km travel – Saturday $196 per hour ($148 per half hour)
- With 15 – 30 travel – Saturday $223 per hour ($168 per half hour)
- With 0 – 15 Km travel – Sunday $222 per hour ($167 per half hour)
- With 15 – 30 Km travel – Sunday $253 per hour ($190 per half hour)

Direct transport
Transport services can include direct transport, charged on a per-trip basis, or transport during the course of providing another service, charged at a per-kilometre rate. Our direct transport service includes the supply of a driver and a car for participants to pursue their regular activities. Costs for transport services are:
- Up to 10 Kms – Weekdays 7 am – 6 pm $38 per trip
- 10-20 Kms – Weekdays 7 am – 6 pm $68 per trip
- > 20 Kms but less than 50 Kms – Weekdays 7 am – 6 pm $103 per trip
- Up to 10 Kms – Weeknights 6 pm – 7 am $44 per trip
- 10-20 Kms – Weeknights 6 pm – 7 am $79 per trip
- > 20 Kms but less than 50 Kms – Weeknights 6 pm – 7 am $119 per trip
- Up to 10 Kms – Saturday $57 per trip
- 10-20 Kms – Saturday $102 per trip
- > 20 Kms but less than 50 Kms – Saturday $155 per trip
- Up to 10 Kms – Sunday $67 per trip

Everyday Living services pricing
Everyday Living services help you live well at home. Everyday Living can include help with cleaning, home or garden maintenance and repairs, shopping or preparing meals. Pricing categories are: domestic assistance, meals, home maintenance and repairs.
Domestic assistance
Hourly rates for general cleaning, laundry and shopping:
- Standard weekdays $104
- Non-standard weeknights $115
- Saturday $143
- Sunday $162
- Public Holiday $219
Pricing for meal preparation
Hourly and half-hourly rates for meal preparation:
- Standard weekdays $104 ($73 per half hour)
- Non-standard weeknights $115 ($81 per half hour)
- Saturday $143 ($101 per half hour)
- Sunday $162 ($114 per half hour)
- Public Holiday $219 ($154 per half hour)
Home maintenance and repairs
Gardening and assistance with home maintenance and repair services are available at a standard weekday hourly rate of $116 per hour.
Assistive technology and home modifications (AT-HM)
Assistive Technology includes devices and equipment that help individuals perform daily tasks more easily, such as mobility aids, communication devices, and daily living aids. Home Modifications are physical changes made to your home to improve accessibility and safety, such as installing ramps, grab bars, or modifying bathrooms.
We can help organise equipment, assistive technology and home modifications to support your comfort and safety at home. Administration costs will not exceed 10% of the total cost, or up to $500 (whichever is lower)
To cover the costs of home modification activities, we charge a coordination fee equal to 15% of the total quoted home modification costs capped at $1,500 (whichever is lower).
