Eligibility for LSA care and support

Kanda is a trusted and approved provider of support for the Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) in South Australia. This means we meet the required Quality Standards and have demonstrated our ability to deliver exceptional care and services.

The Lifetime Support Authority (LSA) provides treatment, care, and support for people who have sustained serious, lifelong disabilities in motor vehicle accidents in South Australia, regardless of fault, through the Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS).

The LSS applies to individuals injured on or after 1 July 2014, including those with:

  • Paraplegia or quadriplegia.
  • Traumatic brain injuries.
  • Whole limb or multiple amputations.
  • Major burns.
  • Permanent traumatic blindness.
