A message from our CEO
Connecting Families Joins the Kanda Group
Kanda is growing. From Monday, 5 October 2026, Connecting Families has officially joined the Kanda group, with their employees and participants transitioning across to Kanda.
Who are Connecting Families?
Connecting Families supports people with disability and their families across New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and the ACT. They’re well regarded for their NDIS and disability supports, including for young people as they move into adulthood.
At Kanda, we provide care and support to people of all ages, and our priority is continuity. As Connecting Families becomes part of Kanda, the care, connections and supports that matter to participants and families will carry on.
Why this partnership makes sense
Kanda and Connecting Families share a strong alignment of values, which is why this partnership feels like such a natural fit. Kanda CEO Cheryl Barrett says:
“Their values line up with ours so closely that this was an easy decision to get behind, and I think you’ll see why the moment you meet them.”
What this means for the Connecting Families community
From 5 October, Connecting Families’ employees and participants are part of the Kanda group. We extend a warm welcome to every member of the Connecting Families team, and to the participants and families they support. Our focus is on making this transition a positive one for everyone involved.
Together, we’re looking forward to building on the strong foundations Connecting Families has created and continuing to support people with disability and their families across five states and territories.
